How should I store my rug when it is not in use?

Answered By Zach Rasband

When storing your rug, use a piece of cloth or a sheet for you to wrap it. Never use a sealed plastic bag. Rugs also need some air and they may rot and mildew with the use of plastic bag. You can also roll them up and store in a box. Never put them in damp, warm, humid and unventilated room. If you do, molds, musty odor, discoloration of fabric may occur.

It should be stored in a certain way which it will not be at risk to damage. Further, it should be examined regularly.
