How can I tell if my rug is a high quality piece?
Answered By Zach Rasband
There are two indicators to determine a high
quality rug, the solidity of the knot and the
quality of the wool. A fine rug is usually
better than the coarser woven rug. This is
because fine knotting allows a meticulous
finishing of curves and intricate styles.
However, even without solidity of the
knot, the wool quality will always be an
indicator of a high quality rug.
