How do I clean inexpensive area rugs without spending a lot of money?
Can you answer clean rugs's question about rugs?:
I have young children and inexpensive area rugs. I plan to move in a year, and I want to keep my rugs until then. But, they've been spilled on, peed on, and who knows what else. How can I get them clean without spending more than they're worth?

Well if they are not to big throw them in the washing machine. if they wont fit in the one at home try the giant ones at the laundromat. then hang them out to dry.
I have in the past. Poured detergent on it. Layed it over the fence and used the hose to wash it. Worked well and just let it dry from there.
palmolive or dawn dishwashing liquid mixed with warm water. get a scrub brush and scrub easy over area of entire rug. then let air dry in sun outside over a line or fence.
Take them to the car wash. Use the high pressure soap and rinse to get them really clean. Hang to dry.
